Mini Haul + Reviews!

After doing a bit of browsing, I finally bought some bits and pieces and I thought I would share them with you!

Since the winter hasn't been too kind to my skin, I have been on the lookout for a foundation with a bit more coverage that will still hydrate my skin. The L'oreal True Match foundation does exactly that. It is lightweight but has medium coverage that can be built up to full coverage. It is hydrating, but my oily skin doesn't get overwhelmed by it. This gives my skin the lift it needs. As to be expected, there is a huge shade range and I've never found a foundation that suited my skin tone better. You can find the L'oreal True Match Foundation for £9.99.

I recently finished my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer and, although I love it, I wanted to try something new. The Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin concealer in the shade 02 Light is what I ended up choosing. It's creamy and super blendable, and I must mention that a little goes a long way. I don't find it clings to dry patches, or oxidises. Plus, it's a bargain at £5.99!

After suffering from a breakout during Christmas, I was bought this to tackle spots. It's theBalm's Liquid TimeBalm spot concealer with added tea tree oil. I have the shade Nude, which I find a little bit dark on me but since I wear this under foundation, it doesn't matter too much. It's a thick concealer that I find to be really useful in covering up red angry spots, and I feel the spots are reduced quicker than normal due to the tea tree oil. I wouldn't recommend this for under eye use, just because of the oil. Since I use this concealer for spots, I don't use the doe-foot applicator as I don't really want it coming into contact with spot after spot. I need to mention that this does have a strong scent due to the tea tree oil, I find that this doesn't linger but if that's something you don't like, I would steer clear. You  can find this online for £11.99.

The final item of the post is possibly my favourite! It's the Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Celestial. My lips are on the dry side, so it's sometimes difficult for me to find a lip product that doesn't cling to dry patches or make my lips look like a cat's bottom. This product is just perfect. It's super pigmented and creamy, the applicator makes this a dream to apply and you really don't use a lot of the product. I find this really long lasting and comfortable on the lips despite the satin finish. Now, onto the colour: Celestial is a 'my lips but better' shade with a brown undertone to it, it's really lovely for both day and night wear. I think I need to add more of these to my collection, I'm really impressed. You can find these for £6.49.

What about you? Have you bought anything lately? -x
